Black artists, join acclaimed artist d'bi.young Anitafrika on Thursday, July 25 for Self-in-Transformation: Introduction to the Anitafrika Method & Decolonial Performance Praxis.

The Anitafrika Method, created by d'bi.young Anitafrika and inspired by dub poet Anita Stewart, is a comprehensive decolonial Black queer feminist framework. It centres the experiences of global majority peoples, using creative intervention to challenge oppressive systems and cultivate decolonial futures. This pedagogy of transformation empowers practitioners to critically engage with and transform personal and collective narratives, fostering holistic consciousness within artists. This masterclass will explore the principles of the method in relation to artistic practice.
